    Hi everyone,

We will be moving into a new place soon which unfortunately does not have a bath! I was wondering how long I could keep

bathing my DD in her normal plastic baby tub? - (she is 3 months old now). My mum says that it should do me until bub is

around 18 months old and then I could take her in the shower with me.

Would there be such a thing as a larger, portable tub type thing? I would love any suggestions :-)

You can start showering her with you as early as you like. We started with Elliot when he was about 3 months old and now

he has a couple a week with either DH or myself and he has his bath time, which he loves.

You can keep her in the plastic bath, but the bigger the get, the more splashes! :D Maybe you can start trying her in the

shower now, see how you go before you move, and then make a decision. Give it a few goes before you give up though - for

some it might be an acquired experience! :P Also, the other suggestion I would have - does this new place have a laundry

tub? You could always bath her in that, as it should be quite deep!

    Good luck with the move!

    hi rachna,

It is recommended that you continue breastfeeding until shes a year old, if you are able to. You can offer baby foods now, if your paediatrician says its okay. She wont need as much milk when shes getting nutrition from other sources. Good luck on whatever you choose to do.
